I had the pleasure of associate designing and programming the 2022 International Portuguese Music Awards. The variety of musical talent and different genres really made this event stand out in a design perspective to me as I was tasked with programming the lighting to many songs in a language I do not speak so finding and setting the mood and feel took more analyzation than traditionally. This rig consisted of Mac Aura XBs and Viper Profiles in the two overhead diamonds. The towers were filled with Robe 600 Ledwashes and Martin Atomic 3000Ks. Finally, on the floor were some Megapointes and 4 PATTs that came out for a single song. Since the award show was being filmed, we had TVL3000s on the downstage edge to fill and Lekos to key. I cued all of our visuals in Resolume from Grandma2 as well on the massive video walls surrounding the stage and decks. This was all round a very fun and versatile rig for the different genres I encountered and good eye candy for TV recording.
